My name is Erwin Roberts.  I have been licensed to practice law in Kentucky since 1997.  I am a former Assistant Commonwealth Attorney, former Assistant U.S. Attorney, and former senior military prosecutor.

I focus my practice on general criminal defense at both the misdemeanor and felony levels in Kentucky state court and federal court in Kentucky.  I also dedicate a portion of my practice to general civil litigation, assisting businesses and individuals with their legal matters.

I have extensive trial experience in state and federal courts in Kentucky, having handled a broad spectrum of criminal cases, including DUI cases, serious state and federal felonies cases, white collar crime cases, and general business litigation. 

I have prepared briefs and presented oral argument before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  I am admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. 

I am a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Louisville Bar Association.  I received a Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky.  I currently serve in the U.S. Army Reserves, JAG Corps.  I am a member of the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees, Transylvania University Board of Trustees, and a graduate of Leadership Kentucky.
